THE RESIDENT FACULTY

Dr. Lawrence Wilkes, Pastor, Educator, Networking Expert. Lawrence brings a wealth of expertise to the Institute. He is Pastor Emeritus at the Crystal Cathedral where he served as Dean at the Robert Schuller School of Preaching. In this capacity, he developed the California Graduate School of Theology and trained thousands to pastors to fulfill their highest calling. He served Crystal Cathedral as interim Pastor during their difficult transition. He has helped to develop numerous seminaries and currently serves as president of California Leadership University and Vice President of California Pacific School of Theology.

Dr. Sandra Herron, Professor, Pastor and Communications Coach. Sandra has degrees in Psychology, Speech Pathology, and Theology. She trained thousands of pastors as faculty in the Robert Schuller School of Preaching. She has expertise with church support programs, including singles, lay development, and grief recovery. She is a speech coach, life coach, and therapist.

Sharon Marshall Lockett, Author, Educator, and Speaker. Sharon is founder and director of Lockett Learning Systems, home to the exemplary SCORE program which she developed. In addition to being a recognized business professional, Sharon brings the perspective of talented laity who volunteer to further the mission of the church. She has experience in Sunday School teaching, youth leadership, womens’ ministry, and care ministry. ADMISSION

Persons desiring to improve their preaching and leadership skills are invited to apply. Enrollment is limited. Before anyone may enroll in the other workshops, someone from your congregation must attend the preaching and leadership intensive offered June 27-30, 2017.

AUDITING/VISITORS

Persons actively involved in ministry but not wishing to work toward a degree are welcome to attend and are charged the same tuition as those who wish to earn 4 units of credit. No visitors are allowed in classes during the session. However, the Orange area is near Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and the lovely Southern California beaches. Families can enjoy the area during the day, and participants will have evenings free.
